Thanks to those who shared your personal stories with Bill and Nancy

On Monday, several of the volunteers came up to Susan's parents, Bill and Nancy Bachman and told them that they had personal experience of mental illness in a member of their family.  One woman shared a story of a family member who had gone missing. A man shared a story of a father who had suffered from mental illness and then committed suicide. A mother shared a story of a son who had been depressed for decades.

Talking about mental illness in one's own family is a topic that most folks generally prefer not to raise, and it meant a lot to Bill and Nancy to hear all these stories from people who had gone through similar challenging experiences.  Thanks to those who shared.
