The family searching for missing woman Susan Bachman has obtained new information on her initial path from the spot she was last seen and her direction of travel. It appears that Susan hitched a ride and left the area, heading southwest on Rte 28. The family asks that anyone who gave a ride to a hitchhiker on Rte 322 or Rte 28 in Jefferson or Clarion County fitting Susan's description in the days after July 4 contact the PA State Police.
On Saturday, July 12, the family brought out a fresh dog team to the barn where Susan discarded her cellphone and wallet. From that location, the trailing dog tracked Susan's path to Rte 28.
